NO! We do not sell or ship products other than in person at one of our dispensaries. It is strictly ILLEGAL to ship THC Cannabis products.
While the federal government has been lenient about prosecuting state-compliant Colorado dispensaries, for now, they may get more aggressive about prosecuting even small-time marijuana offenses at the state border. Many states surrounding Colorado have even stepped up their border patrols looking for illegal marijuana crossing into their states. The best advice is to enjoy your marijuana where you buy it: in the great State of Colorado.
NO. Colorado does not recognize any other state’s medical licenses or red cards. However, now that recreational marijuana use is legal in Colorado anyone over the age of 21 and with a valid form of ID can enter a licensed recreational store and buy marijuana.
Indica use creates a stereotypical “couch-lock”, I-don’t-want-to-move-a-muscle type high. Using indica is a great choice for those nights indoors watching TV, playing video games, or just chilling with close companions. The indica high numbs the body down and induces an overall sense of relaxation, which is ideal for a relaxing night’s sleep.
Sativa use produces more of a mental, cerebral high, which often results in a boost in energy and imagination. Sativa strains are perfect when working creatively in activities such as writing, painting, and brainstorming new ideas. Sativas are also a great choice for enhancing the experience at artistic events like movies and concerts.
A medical marijuana topical is a preparation of medical marijuana-infused into a product – that is intended for topical (on the skin) use.
Creams, foams, lotions, balms, ointments, and salves are all considered topicals, and may all be infused with medical marijuana, in order to draw the beneficial properties of the cannabinoids into the skin.
Marijuana tinctures are herbal preparations that are made by extracting plant compounds, using ethanol alcohol. Most tinctures are prepared with a commercial-grade, consumable liquor, ranging from 80-180 proof, or 40-90% ethanol content, with the final preparation being between 25-90% alcohol.
Tinctures are typically administered by placing a few drops – to a dropper or 2 full – of the final infused product under the tongue but they can also be added to a cup of tea or other beverage. Since the alcohol draws the other extracted constituents into the bloodstream fairly rapidly, it usually only takes a few minutes to feel some effect. Some patients claim almost-instant effects, while others claim up-to 15 minutes until cannabis tinctures begin to “kick-in”. Dosage is adjusted, simply by waiting 15-20 minutes before judging effect, then adding a few more drops if needed. If dosage is too strong, simply wait for it to wear off and take a little less next time.
In general, smoking marijuana will trigger effects faster and more predictably than ingesting marijuana. Smoking marijuana will cause psychological effects within 10 to 30 minutes as the psychoactive chemical THC is absorbed into the blood through the lungs and circulated around the body. The exact time and effect it will have you depend on many factors such as tolerance to THC, body weight, if you’ve eaten, hydration level, etc. It is best to start slowly with a small amount and then wait 15-20 minutes before smoking anymore.
Much like smoking it varies from person to person depending on many factors. Often times the high from eating marijuana lasts a longer duration and creates more of a hallucinogenic experience. In general, ingested marijuana takes longer to feel the effects from. Therefore it is HIGHLY recommended that you start with a very small dose, wait 45-60 minutes to feel the effects. If you don’t feel anything then go ahead and take another small amount. If you start out with too much because you aren’t feeling it fast enough it could cause you to become very sick and/or even pass out for up to 12-48 hours. Again, the best advice is to start SMALL! You don’t want your first experience to be a miserable one.
