Your sleep is important and can change the way you act. That is why this month we have a guest blog from Chrissy Calain aka Cann Chrissy outlining all THC/CBD night time products we have to offer.
Today I’m featuring all my favorite sleepy time products! Indica’s are my absolute favorite so whether you’re an indica gal like me or just want some help with unwinding at the end of the day these products are for you!
1906 Midnight chocolates are first on my list because who doesn’t love a good 1:1 chocolate. 1906 states that their Midnight chocolates are, “an all-natural sleep aid. It is 1906’s best-selling product, and there is a good reason: it really works. It’s become legendary among cannabis-industry professionals as the best sleep aid on the market, both in dispensaries and mainstream pharmacies. Midnight is a highly targeted blend of sleep-inducing plant medicines and relaxing cannabis that promotes deeper and more restful sleep. The best part is that it’s non-habit forming and does not have the drowsy hangover effects of other sleep aids. We put exhaustive research and refinement into this formulation because sleep issues are one of the most prevalent health problems Americans face, and frankly, we felt that the options widely available were just not good enough”.
1906 continues, “Midnight’s key ingredient, corydalis, has been used for millennia and works in several crucial ways. It helps you fall asleep because of its sedative properties, and it helps you stay asleep because it targets body pain and tension, including acute, inflammatory, and neuropathic pain. We receive letters every week from people who have had their lives transformed by Midnight. If you suffer from insomnia, please have faith, and give this a try. When taking Midnight, it’s very important to be READY FOR BED. Within 15 minutes, you will feel the effects. Take no more than two chocolates (please start with just one), relax, and let Midnight gently carry you into dreamland”.
Also, Magnetic Magazine claimed the 1906 Midnight Chocolates were so amazing they, “…quickly drifted off to sleep in minutes, much less than 15. For someone with occasional insomnia, midnight definitely helped”.
Pulled taffy and Saltwater Taffy are my favorite and I am a huge fan of the Dixie Pulled Taffies so this was an obvious Indica grab.
Dixie states their Bursts, “are an assorted pack or three fruity flavors that are sure to make any situation shine a little brighter. The mango, blue raspberry, and strawberry taffies are bursting with flavor and are the ultimate discreet dosing edible. Individually wrapped, you can take them anywhere your adventure takes you.”
Lemon Lime is a rare flavor for Indica gummies but is definitely my favorite type of gummy to consume, so when I saw these I had to give them a try.
iHeartJane claims that the “district edibles [are] a quality, artisan crafted edible line. All edibles are created in small batches, with Ultra-premium CO2 extracted cannabis oil. Consumers will feel the difference in the quality and consistency of our products so you can really redefine your high!”
Escape Artist is not only one of my favorite brands but one of my favorite sleepy time products from Euflora. The Lavender relief cream is not only fast acting and absorbing but also has an extra relaxing component from the lavender scent. Lavender is known for its linalool terpenes that are often found in many calming cannabis strains.
The NYT explains how in a study where, “they exposed mice to linalool vapor, wafting from filter paper inside a specially made chamber to see if the odor triggered relaxation. Mice on linalool were more open to exploring, indicating they were less anxious than normal mice. And they didn’t behave like they were drunk, as mice on benzodiazepines, a drug used to treat anxiety, or injected with linalool did.”
The NYT Continues on how, “the linalool didn’t work when they blocked the mice’s ability to smell, or when they gave the mice a drug that blocks certain receptors in the brain. This suggested that to work, linalool tickled odor-sensitive neurons in the nose that send signals to just the right spots in the brain — the same ones triggered by Valium.”
Escape Artists states their, “Fast Relief Cream is a concentrated, highly bioavailable formula designed to deliver our blend of pure cannabinoids quickly to areas needing relief”.
I’ve been eyeing these beauties for some time now and I thought this blog would be the perfect excuse.
Stratos explains how their, “sleep tablets are thoughtfully formulated with the highest quality Indica strain-type THC to provide a calm body high. When the winks won’t come, simply reach for STRATOS and dream a little dream. The only active ingredient in each tablet is cannabis oil. The effects are derived using the whole plant, strain-type specific CO2 oil extraction. Stratos tablets are formulated to maximize the absorption of the cannabinoids into the body quickly and effectively. On average, the user’s experience is felt within thirty minutes and often lasts between six and eight hours. Available in medical bottles of 300mg, and 500mg. Available in recreational bottles of 75mg and 100mg”.
I was pleasantly surprised by how quick they kicked in to end my night. They’re super subtle and not too, “in the couch” but it was like a nice warm blanket to add to your evening to make everything extra cozy and calming.
